Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder Ruben Neves has addressed speculation linking him with a move to Newcastle United and Arsenal, firmly stating his contentment at his current club.
Neves, who has been the subject of transfer rumours, clarified his stance in an interview with the BBC. He attributed the speculation to the prominence of the clubs’ owners and his own experience in English football. Neves mentioned that there was interest from Newcastle prior to his arrival at Wolverhampton, but he emphasized his satisfaction with his life at the club and in England.
“I don’t go. I’m really happy here, my family’s really happy,” Neves told the BBC, quashing any immediate transfer expectations.
The Portuguese international has been a key player for Wolves since joining from FC Porto, and his performances in the Premier League have not gone unnoticed, sparking interest from larger clubs. However, his recent comments suggest that he is not looking for a move and remains committed to his current team.
