Joshua Kimmich has addressed rumours regarding his future, stating that he remains under contract with FC Bayern Munich until 2025. The 29-year-old midfielder emphasised that any decisions about his career are not solely in his hands at the moment.
“My focus is solely on the European Championship, and after that there will be a conversation,” Kimmich told @SZ.
Kimmich’s comments come amidst ongoing speculation about his future at Bayern Munich. Earlier this year, discussions about his contract were reportedly pending the decision of the club’s future coach, as reported on 2 March 2024. Additionally, Kimmich played a pivotal role in Bayern’s Champions League campaign, scoring a crucial goal on 17 April 2024.
