Real Madrid defender Dani Carvajal has been actively encouraging Manchester City midfielder Rodri to transfer to the Spanish capital. Carvajal revealed his persistent efforts to persuade Rodri during an interview with @tjcope, stating, “I tell him every day to leave Manchester, that there is no sun there and to come to Madrid that we need him.”
Carvajal further mentioned that despite his attempts, Rodri remains committed to his current contract with Manchester City. “He tells me he has a contract… but he would be perfect for us,” Carvajal added.
Rodri, a key player for Manchester City, has been with the club since 2019 after transferring from Atlético Madrid. Known for his defensive midfield capabilities, Rodri has been instrumental in City’s recent successes.
