Manchester United have officially extended the contract of Swedish centre-back Victor Lindelof. The club has sent a formal letter to Lindelof’s representatives, confirming the activation of the option to prolong his stay at Old Trafford until June 2025.
The 28-year-old defender, who joined the Red Devils from Benfica in 2017, has been a key part of the United backline. Known for his composure on the ball and defensive awareness, Lindelof has established himself as a reliable option in the heart of the defence.
In addition to Lindelof’s extension, Manchester United is also expected to secure the futures of midfielder Hannibal and right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka. The club plans to activate the option to extend their contracts as well, provided all conditions are met.
