The ongoing negotiations regarding Nuno Tavares’ potential transfer from Arsenal to Olympique de Marseille (OM) have not progressed, remaining at the same stage as previously reported.
Olympique de Marseille is interested in securing Tavares on a permanent deal. Arsenal, the current club holding Tavares’ contract, is willing to sell the player immediately. However, a significant hurdle in the discussions is the absence of a break clause in Tavares’ loan agreement with Nottingham Forest (NFFC), which is currently in effect. As it stands, Nottingham Forest is not prepared to terminate the loan early, at least not within the January transfer window.
