Croatian winger Josip Brekalo has officially joined Hajduk Split, arriving on loan from Italian side Fiorentina. The deal includes a loan fee of €100,000, with an additional €100,000 payable should Hajduk Split clinch the league title.
The 25-year-old Brekalo, known for his pace and dribbling skills, has previously played for clubs such as VfL Wolfsburg and Torino. His arrival at Hajduk Split sees him join the ranks of notable Croatian players like Ivan Perišić and Nikola Kalinić, who have also worn the club’s colours.
Hajduk Split’s management has not released further details regarding the coaching facts or the duration of Brekalo’s loan. However, the acquisition of Brekalo is seen as a significant move to bolster the squad’s attacking options as they aim for domestic success.
