German defender Jerome Boateng is set to join Serie A club Salernitana after completing his medical. The experienced centre-back will be playing under the guidance of head coach Filippo Inzaghi.
Boateng’s move to Salernitana comes after a potential return to Bayern Munich in November did not materialize. The 34-year-old former Bayern Munich player will now continue his career in Italy as a free agent.
