Napoli’s president, Aurelio De Laurentiis, has confirmed the inclusion of Hamed Traoré in their UEFA Champions League (UCL) squad. The decision to test the player during the prestigious European competition comes ahead of a potential permanent transfer from Bournemouth.
Hamed Traoré, currently on loan at Napoli from Bournemouth, has been registered for the UCL as the club evaluates his performance. Napoli has until May to decide whether to exercise a significant buy option clause in the loan deal. The clause is reportedly worth €25 million.
De Laurentiis highlighted the need to assess Traoré’s capabilities within the team’s dynamics before making a final decision on the investment. The move to include him in the UCL list is seen as part of this evaluation process.
