Napoli’s president Aurelio De Laurentiis has clarified the transfer fee received for defender Kim Min-jae’s move to Bayern Munich. Contrary to some media reports, the actual fee was €42 million, not the €57 million that was previously reported.
De Laurentiis confirmed that the club was aware of the Korean Republic international’s departure last summer, indicating that the transfer was anticipated. Kim Min-jae, who now plays as a defender for Bundesliga club Bayern Munich, has thus been subject to a lower transfer fee than initially believed by some outlets.
