Bayern Munich’s manager, Thomas Tuchel, recently shed light on his involvement in the acquisition of Bryan Zaragoza. In a statement, Tuchel clarified his role in the decision-making process that led to Zaragoza joining the Bundesliga giants. “I wasn’t entirely uninvolved in the decision to bring him here; I was also in the meetings,” Tuchel stated, highlighting his active participation in the transfer discussions.
Tuchel also addressed the challenges Zaragoza has faced since moving to Bayern Munich, particularly the language barrier. The manager revealed that the club has taken steps to ensure Zaragoza’s smooth transition, including providing a Spanish translator to assist him. “We took him out of a familiar environment and also, our assistant is translating in Spanish for him,” Tuchel explained, emphasizing the club’s efforts to support the player’s adaptation.
Contrary to some reports suggesting a lack of direct communication between Tuchel and Zaragoza, the Bayern Munich manager dismissed such claims as baseless. “But it’s nonsense that I never speak to Bryan,” Tuchel asserted, refuting the notion that he does not interact with the player.
As the manager of Bayern Munich, Tuchel’s insights provide a clear perspective on the club’s approach to integrating new signings like Bryan Zaragoza, ensuring they feel supported both on and off the pitch.
