Barcelona’s director Deco has made it clear that the club has no intention of selling key players, including Uruguayan defender Ronald Araujo. In a statement to La Vanguardia, Deco emphasized the club’s strategy to retain their crucial talent while potentially adding one or two new players to the squad.
“The plan is NOT to sell any player and include one or two players,” Deco stated, addressing the transfer strategy of the La Liga giants. He further assured that if the club finds itself in a position where selling players becomes necessary, they will strive to do so without disrupting the core team.
“In case we need to sell, we will try to make it happen without touching our crucial players,” Deco added, indicating the importance of maintaining the team’s foundation.
Ronald Araujo, who plays as a defender for Barcelona, is among the players considered vital to the team’s structure. The Uruguayan international has established himself as a key figure in Barcelona’s defensive lineup, contributing to the team’s performance in the Spanish top-flight league.
