Marc Guiu, the 18-year-old forward who recently transferred from Barcelona to Chelsea, has expressed uncertainty about a potential loan move. Speaking via @kierangill_DM, Guiu stated, “I still don’t know if I will go on loan… but I think I’m ready for the Premier League.”
Guiu, who joined Chelsea on a contract until 2030, acknowledged the difficulty of leaving Barcelona but emphasised his long-standing ambition to play in the Premier League. “It was a tough decision to leave Barça, for sure — but I always wanted to play in the Premier League,” he said.
The young striker, who completed his medicals and officially joined Chelsea in late June, is hopeful about his future with the club. “I hope to stay, I’m working for it,” Guiu added.
Guiu’s move to Chelsea was finalised after the club triggered his release clause, marking a significant step in his career. The forward is known for his agility and goal-scoring prowess, attributes that Chelsea will be keen to utilise whether he stays or goes out on loan.
