Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has firmly denied recent rumours linking him with a move to Barcelona. The speculation suggested that Arteta was set to leave the Gunners at the end of the season, but he has labelled these claims as “fake news.”
“Fake news. Totally fake news,” Arteta stated, expressing his disbelief and frustration over the unfounded reports. He emphasized the lack of any credible source behind the rumours and his upset at the situation, “I don’t know where it is coming from. It is totally untrue,” he added, “I am really upset about it. I could not believe it. No source, nothing”.
Arteta’s commitment to Arsenal remains steadfast as he continues his managerial role at the club.
