David Raya has officially completed a permanent transfer to Arsenal for a fee of £27 million. The Spanish goalkeeper, who had been on loan at the club, will now remain at the Emirates Stadium on a long-term basis.
Raya, 28, joined Arsenal from Brentford, where he had established himself as a reliable shot-stopper. His performances during the loan spell convinced the Gunners to make the move permanent.
The deal was confirmed by the club, solidifying Raya’s position in Mikel Arteta’s squad.
