Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino has confirmed the return of André Santos to the club following a period where the player was not consistently involved in Nottingham Forest’s matchday squads. Pochettino explained that the decision to recall Santos was made to evaluate the player’s situation more closely and determine the best course of action for both the individual and the team.
Speaking on the matter, Pochettino said, “We decided to bring André Santos back because he wasn’t involved in the squads at Nottingham Forest. He wasn’t involved every week”. He added, “It is good for him to come back, assess him and take the best decision for him and the team. We will see”.
