Chelsea are set to part ways with Romelu Lukaku, Trevoh Chalobah, Armando Broja, and David Datro Fofana this summer. The club plans permanent transfers for all four players.
Lukaku’s Move to Napoli
Romelu Lukaku has agreed to a three-year contract with Napoli. This move comes amid Napoli’s uncertainty regarding Victor Osimhen’s future, as previously reported on 24 July 2024.
Chalobah, Broja, and Fofana’s Future
Trevoh Chalobah, David Datro Fofana, and Armando Broja are currently evaluating their options. Chalobah, a defender, has been linked with a potential transfer valued between £30-35 million, as reported on 23 July 2024. Fofana, a forward, was previously poised for a loan move, according to reports from 5 August 2024. Broja, also a forward, has been speculated to be on his way out since early August.
The departures mark a significant reshuffle in Chelsea’s squad as they prepare for the upcoming season.
