Liverpool manager Jürgen Klopp has expressed skepticism regarding the introduction of blue cards in football. The 56-year-old German, who has been at the helm of Liverpool FC, voiced his opinion on the matter, suggesting that the game should be kept as simple as possible.

During a recent discussion, Klopp made it clear that he is not in favor of complicating the sport with additional rules such as the blue card. He remarked on the lack of recent impressive ideas from the International Football Association Board (IFAB), the body responsible for determining the laws of the game.

“It doesn’t sound like a fantastic idea at the moment… but I can’t remember the last fantastic idea from these guys IFAB and I am 56!” Klopp stated, indicating his preference for maintaining the current state of the game without further alterations.
