Manchester United winger Amad Diallo has expressed his appreciation for manager Erik ten Hag’s supportive role at the club. Diallo, who joined Manchester United from Atalanta, highlighted ten Hag’s commitment to player development and his availability for guidance, even for those not featuring regularly in matches.
“He’s there to help everyone, even when you don’t play he’s there to speak with you to stay focused on the training pitch,” Diallo told Sky. The 21-year-old Ivorian emphasised the importance of being prepared during training to earn opportunities on the pitch, stating, “If you want to deserve things on the pitch, you need to be ready in the training.”
Diallo’s comments come amidst a series of statements from ten Hag addressing various aspects of team management and player performance. Recently, ten Hag has explained his decision to bench Marcus Rashford and has emphasised the need for Antony to prove himself, as reported in previous news.
Diallo, known for his agility and technical skills, continues to work under ten Hag’s guidance, aiming to secure more playing time and contribute to Manchester United’s success.
