Leicester City manager Enzo Maresca has expressed his satisfaction with Jadon Sancho’s behaviour since joining the club. Speaking to @PaSport, Maresca stated, “I don’t consider Jadon Sancho a risk off the pitch. Whatever’s happened with Erik ten Hag… I have no idea.”
Sancho, who recently transferred from Manchester United, has been under scrutiny following his departure from Old Trafford. However, Maresca emphasised that Sancho has been exemplary during his time at Leicester City, saying, “I can only judge the player on the weeks he’s been with us. He’s been perfect.”
Sancho, a 24-year-old winger, previously played for Borussia Dortmund before his stint at Manchester United. Known for his pace and dribbling skills, Sancho has been a significant addition to Leicester City’s squad.
This statement comes amid a series of comments from Manchester United’s manager Erik ten Hag, who has been vocal about the club’s need to win every game and respond to criticism. Ten Hag’s recent remarks have included responses to Cristiano Ronaldo’s comments and discussions about the club’s trophy ambitions.
