Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has provided an update on the integration of new signing Manuel Ugarte into the squad. Speaking about the process, Ten Hag stated, “We are in that process and that will take some time, but it will come, it will come in a natural way.”

The 22-year-old Uruguayan midfielder, who joined Manchester United from Sporting CP, is expected to play a significant role once fully integrated. Ten Hag expressed confidence in Ugarte’s potential, noting, “You can already see when he is fulfilling the process he will really be a very good player for us.”

Ugarte, known for his defensive capabilities and ball-winning skills, has previously played for Famalicão and Sporting CP in Portugal. His style of play is characterised by his strong tackling, positional awareness, and ability to break up opposition attacks.

The integration of Ugarte is part of Ten Hag’s broader strategy to strengthen Manchester United’s midfield, aiming to enhance the team’s overall performance in domestic and European competitions.
