Van Nistelrooy, who joined Manchester United’s coaching staff in July 2024, initially served as an assistant coach. His appointment as interim manager was announced on 28th October 2024, following his previous role alongside René Hake. Van Nistelrooy’s transition to interim manager was confirmed on 30th October 2024.
