Bologna’s director, Marco Di Vaio, has made it clear that the club’s key players, including Joshua Zirkzee, will not be leaving in the January transfer window. Di Vaio emphasized that the release clause in Zirkzee’s contract is exclusively applicable to Bayern Munich, effectively ruling out a mid-season move to Manchester United.
In a statement to Gazzetta, Di Vaio confirmed that Bologna has not received any communication from Manchester United regarding Zirkzee. He stated, “How many phone calls have we received? None. And we wouldn’t answer anyway,” indicating the club’s firm stance on retaining their top talent during the crucial mid-season period.
