Tottenham Hotspur manager Ange Postecoglou has expressed strong confidence in new signing Dominic Solanke, despite the striker’s limited appearances due to injury. Solanke, who joined Spurs for £65 million, has only featured in two-and-a-bit games so far.
Postecoglou stated, “He’s settled in really well. There’s plenty more to come from him… because he got injured! He will be great, I’ve zero doubts.” He further added, “What I’ve seen… he’s going to be a real asset for us.”
Solanke’s arrival at Tottenham was confirmed on 10 August 2024, following Postecoglou’s earlier indication of the club’s pursuit of the player. The manager had previously announced that no further signings were expected for the club this season.
The 26-year-old forward, known for his physical presence and goal-scoring ability, previously played for Bournemouth before making the switch to Tottenham. His integration into the team has been hampered by an injury, but Postecoglou remains optimistic about his potential impact once fully fit.
