Inter CEO Giuseppe Marotta has confirmed that the club is close to finalising a contract extension for Argentine attacker Lautaro Martínez. Despite a hectic fixture schedule, Marotta assured that there are no issues and the deal is expected to be concluded shortly.
According to Marotta’s statement to Rai, the process has been delayed due to the team’s dense run of matches. However, he expressed confidence that the agreement with Martínez will be “sealed soon.”
Lautaro Martínez, who plays as an attacker for Inter in Serie A, has been an integral part of the team. The Argentine international’s continued commitment to the club is anticipated to bolster Inter’s attacking options as they compete in one of Europe’s top leagues.
