Valentín Carboni has arrived at Inter Milan’s headquarters to finalise a new contract that will keep him with the club until June 2029. Following the signing, the 18-year-old midfielder will travel to France to join Olympique Marseille on a loan deal that includes a buy option and a buy-back clause.
The move to Marseille has been in the works for several weeks, with negotiations between the clubs reported as early as mid-July. Carboni, who has been with Inter since his youth career, is expected to gain valuable first-team experience during his time in Ligue 1.
The loan agreement allows Marseille the option to purchase Carboni at the end of the loan period, while Inter retains the right to buy him back, ensuring future flexibility for both clubs.
