AS Roma have finalised an agreement to bring in Mathew Ryan as their new backup goalkeeper. The Australian shot-stopper has signed a one-year contract with the Italian club, which includes an option to extend for an additional two years.
Ryan, who is set to arrive in Rome on Monday, will undergo medical examinations on Tuesday. The 32-year-old goalkeeper has previously played for clubs such as Brighton & Hove Albion and Real Sociedad, and is known for his agility and shot-stopping abilities.
This move aims to bolster Roma’s goalkeeping options ahead of the upcoming season.
