AS Monaco’s director, Thiago Scuro, has expressed the club’s strong desire to retain midfielder Maghnes Akliouche, highlighting his development as a key priority. Scuro emphasized the importance of another season at Monaco for Akliouche, especially with the opportunity to play in the UEFA Champions League (UCL).
“We want to keep Maghnes Akliouche, it’s one of our priorities,” Scuro stated, acknowledging the benefits that another season could bring to the player’s growth. He added, “One more season can also be good for his development with UCL football, I believe this… we want to keep him, but I don’t control everyone’s decisions.”
This statement underscores the club’s commitment to developing its talent while also recognizing the complexities of football transfers, where multiple parties are involved in decision-making.
