Benfica has agreed to a conditional transfer deal with Manchester United for the player Alvaro Fernandez. The Portuguese club will be obligated to pay €6 million if Fernandez starts in at least 50% of the games until June. If this condition is not met, Benfica will retain the option to purchase the player for the same amount.
The agreement also includes a sell-on clause, matching rights, and a buy-back clause in favor of Manchester United, confirming the details that were reported yesterday. These clauses provide Manchester United with certain rights regarding Fernandez’s future transfers.
