Crystal Palace chairman Steve Parish has expressed his astonishment at the limited interest shown in midfielder Eberechi Eze during the recent transfer window.
Unexpected Lack of Offers
Parish revealed his surprise in an interview with Sky, stating, “We didn’t have in Eberechi Eze, the interest I thought we would have.” He added, “I was astounded!”
Eze, who plays as an attacking midfielder, has been a key player for Crystal Palace since joining from Queens Park Rangers in 2020. Known for his dribbling skills and creativity on the pitch, the 25-year-old has been expected to attract significant attention from other clubs.
Despite his impressive performances, the anticipated bids for Eze did not materialise, leaving Parish puzzled by the situation.
