Swedish international Emil Forsberg has completed a transfer to Major League Soccer team New York Red Bulls on a permanent deal from German club RB Leipzig. The midfielder marked his departure by scoring in his final appearance, taking the opportunity to bid farewell to the supporters.
Forsberg’s contract with the Red Bulls extends until 2026, with the club holding an option to extend it for a further year until 2027.
