Napoli is on the verge of securing a loan deal for Hamed Traoré. The two parties have nearly finalized a verbal agreement, with only a few details left to iron out before the signing can take place.
The arrangement for Traoré’s transfer is contingent upon the player passing medical tests. Should the tests be successful, Napoli will have the option to make the move permanent in June for a fee of €25 million.
An interesting aspect of the deal is that Napoli will only be required to pay a loan fee if they decide not to exercise the buy option clause in June. This clause provides Napoli with the flexibility to assess Traoré’s performance before committing to a long-term investment.
